What do we teach?

We practice two main meditation forms in Triratna, we teach these alternating each week at our drop-in classes.

Is meditation suitable for beginners?

Yes! Whether you’re just starting out or have meditated before, our classes are designed for everyone. There are drop-in classes, open to all, every week in Deal, Canterbury and Margate. 

Where can I join a group?

We meet regularly in Deal, Canterbury and Margate. All information about what drop-in classes are running and where is above. 

What should I bring along?

Just come as you are. Comfortable clothes are helpful, we provide the rest! If you have any questions or accessiblity needs, feel free to get in touch.

Do I need to be a Buddhist to attend?

Not at all! Our doors are open to everyone, no matter your background or beliefs. If you're interested in meditation, learning about Buddhist practice or simply looking for community, you're warmly invited.

Is there a fee to join or attend?

All of our drop-in classes are offered on a donation basis. There will be a suggested donation amount - but everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay. 

What happens at a Drop-in class?

We will always be learning one of two main meditation practices; The Mindfulness of Breathing or The Metta Bhavana. There will be time to explore these meditation practices and get to know each other.
